The laws of Switzerland and the EU:
In Switzerland, the Federal Act against Unfair Competition (UWG; SR 241) and the Ordinance on Price Indication (PBV; SR 942.211) are particularly relevant for online commerce (e-commerce). In the European Union, the Directive on Consumer Rights (Directive 2011/83/EU) and the Directive on Electronic Commerce (Directive 2000/31/EC) contain rules for online commerce.
In addition, the provisions of the Swiss Code of Obligations (CO; SR 220) apply, which are also relevant for traditional purchase contracts.
